I, the undersigned, have read the policies and procedures for access to the computer workstations and to the Internet at the Free Library of Springfield Township. I understand these policies and procedures and agree to follow them. I understand that the staff and the Board of Directors of the Library do not guarantee this service to be free of interruption, nor do they guarantee the accuracy or character of the information to be found on the Internet. I understand that the responsibility for learning the use of the computer equipment, computer programs and the Internet is solely my own.

I will not attempt to bypass, alter or in any way use the hardware and software provided by the Library for any purpose other than described in the rules and procedures. I will not attempt to install any program not already installed on the workstation. I will aid in monitoring the access of my minor children to the Internet, chatrooms, electronic mail or other forms of direct electronic communication. I will not hold the Free Library of Springfield Township or any library representative liable for damages, direct or indirect, which may arise from the use of this system.

In consideration for the privileges of using the workstations, I agree to abide by such rules and procedures as they are revised and updated, especially in regard to the restriction of access by minors to Internet and online sites that contain or make reference to explicit sexual materials as defined in 18 Pa. C.S. : 5903, as well as items regarding minors listed above in section 4.
