Films on Friday @ 2:00:

May 31st - A husband falls in love with the young woman helping with his wife's illness in a film based on an Edith Wharton novel
June 7th - Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft star in a film about a graduate who has an affair with the wife of his father's friend
June 14th - Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss star in a comedy about a psychiatrist who loses his mind thanks to his patient
June 21st - A comedy about a distant relative of the Duke of D'Ascoyne who plots to inherit the title, starring Alec Guinness

Evening Book Club:

Come and join us on the 4th Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Free Library of Springfield Township. New members are encouraged and welcome. For more information call the library at 215-836-5300.

Drop in between 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Fridays for some neat arts and craft projects!

Lego Club:

Join FLS on Wednesday from 3:30 - 5:00 PM for Lego Club! Set your imagination free with our vast collection of legos! (Ages 4+)

Story Times:

Monday: Terrific Two’s and Three’s (18 to 36 mo.) at 10:00 AM
Tuesday: Playful Pre-School (3 to 5 yrs.) at 10:00 AM
Thursday: Wonderful One’s (Birth to 24 mo.) at 10:00 AM
Second Tuesday of the Month: Family “Pajama” Story Time (2 to 6 yrs.) at 6:30 PM

Medicare & Insurance Help:

If you're 65+, and need help figuring out your Medicare or insurance, every Friday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, you can sign up to get that help. Visits are by appointment only, and a sign up sheet is available at the Reference desk, or you can call us @ 215-836-5300 to make an appointment. Counselors are RSVP & APPRISE certified.

Adult Knit-Night:

Join the Library every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for evenings of Knitting, Crocheting, Conversation and Knit-Networking!

Mah Jongg (麻将):

Come join the Library on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 PM for a rousing game of Mah Jongg. Not familiar with the game? Check it out at Wikipedia.

Socrates Café:

Socrates Café is a group of individuals who like to talk. They get together and discuss what is on their minds, from something on the news that day to the age old questions of “What is…?" Socrates Café helps you learn how to think, not what to think. Does this sound interesting? Would you like to join a Socrates Café at the Library? The Free Library of Springfield hosts the Café regularly, and encourages you to join every Monday at 7:00 PM.

Teen Time is after school on Tuesdays til 5:30. Something New Every Week! You Attend, You Decide! Always snacks, always games, always fun!
