Socrates Café:

Socrates Café is a group of individuals who like to talk. They get together and discuss what is on their minds, from something on the news that day to the age old questions of “What is…?" Socrates Café helps you learn how to think, not what to think. Does this sound interesting? Would you like to join a Socrates Café at the Library? The Free Library of Springfield hosts the Café regularly, and encourages you to join every Monday at 7:00 PM.

Teen Night:

The Library is looking for a few good teens. Are you between the ages of 12 and 17? Got ideas? Got free time? Need a snack? We are OPEN! No plan, no agenda, no sign up. Just show up. Tuesdays 3:00 - 8:00PM. *Now with trivia & crocheting.

Heart & Stroke Assessments:

Abington Memorial Hospital will be performing Heart assessments, Stroke assessments and Blood Pressure screenings for the community here at the library, on the Second Thursday of each month from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM.
