Beginning on June 25th on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM, the Library will be showing movies! Come catch family favorites like Ghostbusters and The Neverending Story! Fun for the Whole Family:Starting on July 1st on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, the Library will have family programs! Get ready for fun dancing, parties, story telling and even a game night! The Library Is Buggy: Beginning on June 26th on Thursday at 2:00 PM, the Library will be buggy on Thursdays! Come check out 'Attracting Toads to Your Garden' on July 10th, 'Does a Cricket Have Knobby Knees?' On July 17th, 'Build a Bird House' on the 24th, and one more on the 27th, that we just haven't decided on a theme for. Summer Reading Clubs: Sign up for our summer reading clubs! They get together and discuss what is on their minds, from something on the news that day to the age old questions of “What is…? Socrates Café helps you learn how to think, not what to think. Does this sound interesting? Would you like to join a Socrates Café at the Library? The Free Library of Springfield hosts the Café regularly, and encourages you to join every Monday at 7:00 PM. |
