The Free Library of Springfield Township is pleased to announce the availability of downloadable digital audio books.

To Access digital audio books you will need:

1. A valid library card from any Montgomery County library
2. A computer with access to the Internet (preferably broadband)
3. Windows Media Player Series 9 or newer version (with Windows Media Security Update)
4. Free digital audio book software (OverDrive Media Console) for your computer available on the library’s digital collection website

Try it with just four easy steps:

1. On your home, work or school computer, download, install and register the OverDrive Media Console software
2. Select your audio books to download
3. Check out your audio books with your library card
4. Download and enjoy Audio to Go

Audio to Go files can be enjoyed at home, work or when you travel. OverDrive software files must be downloaded to your personal computer.

Audio books can be transferred to portable devices such as compatible MP3 players, PDAs, and smart phones. Many audio books can also be burned to CD.

Please note that iPods are not compatible with OverDrive nor are Macintosh operating systems.
